1. Registration. Registration is subject to review and acceptance by Phase Meridian. Phase Meridian reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations where necessary to support event operations, venue requirements, security requirements, compliance obligations, or the objectives of the conference. Attendees are responsible for ensuring all registration information provided is accurate.
2. Conference Program. Dates, speakers, venues, schedules, and activities are subject to change without notice. Phase Meridian reserves the right to modify the event program as necessary.
3. Cancellation and Substitution. If an attendee is unable to attend, requests for substitutions may be considered. Phase Meridian reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the conference or any portion of the program if circumstances require. In such cases, attendees will be notified promptly. Phase Meridian shall not be responsible for travel, lodging, visa, or other costs incurred by attendees as a result of conference cancellation, postponement, program changes, or denial of venue access.
4. Photography and Recording. Photographs, video recordings, and other media may be captured for documentation, educational, and promotional purposes. By attending the conference, attendees acknowledge that they may appear in such materials and grant Phase Meridian permission to use such images and recordings in connection with event-related communications and promotional activities without additional compensation.
5. Attendee Conduct. Attendees will conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Phase Meridian reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, unlawful, threatening, harassing, or otherwise inconsistent with event objectives.
6. Security and Venue Requirements. Attendees must comply with venue rules, security requirements, identification requirements, and instructions provided by event organizers or venue personnel. Failure to do so may result in denial of entry or removal from the event.
7. U.S. Naval Academy Access Requirements. The event is being held at facilities located in the Yard at the United States Naval Academy. Attendees are responsible for complying with all applicable U.S. Naval Academy access, identification, security, and credentialing requirements.
Attendees who are required to complete and submit Form 5512 as part of the U.S. Naval Academy base-access process are responsible for doing so within the deadlines and in accordance with the instructions provided by Phase Meridian and the U.S. Naval Academy. Phase Meridian may provide reminders or other communications regarding outstanding access requirements.
If an attendee fails to timely submit a required Form 5512 and, as a result, is unable to obtain access to the U.S. Naval Academy or attend the conference, the attendee will not be eligible for a refund of the registration fee.
8. Intellectual Property and Recording Restrictions. The views expressed by speakers and participants are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of Phase Meridian, conference partners, sponsors, venue operators, or governmental organizations represented at the conference. Conference materials remain the property of their respective owners and may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without permission. Recording, photographing, streaming, or distributing presentations or conference materials without permission of the presenter or Phase Meridian may be prohibited.
9. Informational Purposes Only. Information presented during the conference is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal, investment, regulatory, export-control, or technical advice.
10. Export Control and Sanctions Compliance. Attendees are responsible for complying with applicable export control, sanctions, and technology transfer laws and regulations. Nothing in the conference program authorizes the disclosure or transfer of controlled technical information.
11. Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phase Meridian shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in the event. Phase Meridian's total liability relating to the event shall not exceed the amount of any registration fee paid by the attendee.
12. Force Majeure. Phase Meridian shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of government, natural disasters, public health emergencies, labor disputes, transportation disruptions, technical failures, or venue access restrictions.
13. Governing Law. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
